Are you ready for 2030?
Over 400 companies have signed the Dutch Resources Agreement. This agreement specifies that in 2030 50% of all resources in the Dutch economy need to be non-virgin. In 2050 a 100% of these resources need to be secondary.
The EME provides a reliable source for buying and selling of secondary materials. By using our marketplace your R&D time for sourcing secondary resources can be reduced by as much as 85%.
At the moment, waste processing costs represent on average 5% of the total revenue of a company. With the EME we help you turn your waste into wealth.
By offering your materials, components, and products on the marketplace you will get paid for them instead of paying to get rid of them. We could reduce your waste processing cost by as much as 150%.
Join our platform and receive data that enables you to make different strategic decisions and potentially unlock even more value for your company.
Did your company also set ambitious sustainability goals? Are you looking for tools to achieve them? Maybe even faster than planned? With the EME you can source and sell your excess materials. Fast, for transparent market prices and in a secured manner. We actively facilitate the making of high-value reuse matches of materials, components and products. Moreover, we calculate the environmental and social impact your transaction has. This proces is automated on our platform, so you can immediately include this in your annual report.
Any material, component or product can be exchanged on the EME. Waste in one sector usually remains waste in that sector and the possibilities for high value reuse are low. Think about coffee leftovers. This remains waste in the restaurant sector. Optimization by for example drying and burning the leftovers at the restaurant is not always the most optimal solution. The leftovers are a valuable resource for mushroom growers. In the pilot we have circular economy A-players and frontrunners as participants. These companies, like yours, very often already have an insight into their material streams. Together we will look for the most optimal reuse opportunities for any type of the material streams between sectors and industries to truly create a circular economy.
Yes, Blockchain Technology will ensure the safe exchange of proprietary data. Companies will remain the owner of their own sensitive data while materials will be traced anonymously. The blockchain also ensures non-corruptibility and traceability of supply chains and will help prevent frauds.
Our fuzzy matching tool connects available material streams with relevant data of thousands of scientific papers and patents. This allows us to quickly identify alternative uses for each material. Eventually an AI toolkit will be developed to initially aid and ultimately automate the matchmaking between supply and demand, and between materials and their highest value reuse opportunity.
We are continuously improving our software. At the moment it is not possible to automatically link your database to ours and upload your data like that. However, do not hesitate to contact us and tell us your needs. We are working hard on making this possible.
With a fully functioning EME the logistics will just be a click away. Until that time and during the pilot logistics we will investigate how to optimise the logistics.
Our partner Stibbe helps us and your company to investigate and overcome the legal barriers for the high value and appropriate exchange of excess materials. We are making an inventory of the most common barriers and will publish those in a report.
